Visit Villa Lante

Villa Lante and its spaces are primarily reserved for the activities of the Institute and the Embassy of Finland to the Holy See. However, it is possible to visit the Villa by attending public events or according to the arrangements outlined below. 

GROUP VISITS

Group visits (intended for cultural associations, organisations, etc.) are available from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, by reservation only via email at the following address: .

INDIVIDUAL VISITORS

Individual visitors may visit Villa Lante only on Open Days.

Upcoming dates for the Open Days:

  • 30th of January 2026 from 9 am to 12 pm, last entrance at 11:45 am
  • 20th of February 2026 from 9 am to 12 pm, last entrance at 11:45 am
  • 27th of March 2026 from 9 am to 12 pm, last entrance at 11:45 am

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR THE VISIT

  • A 15-minute audio guide on the Villa’s history and architecture is available for visitors to listen to on their smartphones.
  • The spaces open to visitors are on the main floor the vestibolo, salone and loggia.
  • The lower gardens are not open to visitors.
  • Domestic animals are not allowed.
