Public lectures are held at Villa Lante about once a month. Finnish or Italian researchers on themes relevant to the Institute are invited to speak about their work. The events are mainly in Italian and you can tune in remotely.

Since 2000, the Institute has held a series of lectures named after its founder, Amos Anderson (1878–1961). Each year, a successful Finnish or international researcher in one of the Institute’s key fields is invited to give a lecture. The lectures are supported by the Föreningen Konstsamfundet.
