Acta Instituti Romani Finlandiae
The Institute has been publishing Acta Instituti Romani Finlandiae since 1961. Studies by the Institute’s research groups, monographs by its members, and presentations given at seminars held at the Institute on classical philology, epigraphy, classical archaeology, ancient and medieval history and arts research are all published in the series. All contributions are presented to the Editor-in-Chief and assessed by a qualified external referee. In order to ensure impartiality, submissions are presented without indication of authorship.

The Editorial Board consists of the editor-in-chief, Professor Mika Kajava (University of Helsinki), the director of the Institute, Docent Ria Berg, Professor Marjo Kaartinen (University of Turku) and the secretary, the Institute’s Vice Director Tuomo Nuorluoto. The ISSN number of the series is 0538-2270, online version 2499-1392.
The International Editorial Advisory Board of the series is composed of John Bodel (Providence, USA), Irene Bragantini (Naples), Alfredo Buonopane (Verona), Michel Gras (Paris), Klaus Herbers (Erlangen) and Sybille Ebert-Schifferer (Rome).
