Concerts

Concerts at the Insitute give young, promising Finnish musicians the opportunity to perform in Rome. A 1866 Pleyel grand piano is played at Institute concerts. It belonged to Nadine Helbig, a student of Franz Liszt and Clara Schumann, who lived at Villa Lante. The music that was performed at the Helbig’s salon in Villa Lante at the turn of the twentieth century has an important role in the concert series.
