The Finnish Institute in Rome offers TelepART Mobility Support for participation in conferences, seminars or other academic events held in Italy. The support is available for Finland-based researchers in ancient and medieval history, classical philology, classical archaeology, art history and other humanistic disciplines relating to Italy.
In order to secure TelepART funding, the grant receiver and/or the organiser have to be based in Finland and the event(s) must take place in Italy, representing collaboration between the two areas. Funding is granted for actual travel and accommodation costs, limited to a maximum of EUR 1000 and must not exceed 50% of the total costs (including travel, accommodation and participation fees and other event related non-fixed costs, including VAT).
The Finnish Institute in Rome makes the grant decisions. Applications will be processed within two weeks.
